Mantle
The second layer of the Earth is the Mantle. The Mantle is made up of semisolid rock. This layer is around 2900 kilometres thick and makes up 82% of the Earths volume. The temperature of the Mantle ranges between 500-900 degrees Celsius at the border of the crust, and over 4000 degrees Celsius.
